What an incredible night it was, celebrating the champions of Welsh food and drink!

 

Fifteen years ago, Louise and I embarked on a journey with a sharp vision: to establish a company committed to supporting local farming families and producers in our catering endeavours.

 

We pressed on, fuelled by our unwavering belief in the unparalleled quality of Welsh products and producers and the goal of saving our farming communities. Which is now more important than ever. Without whom we wouldn't have world leading produce. Long before the concept of sourcing locally became widespread and before the term "circular economy" gained any traction, we were pioneers in the field. We were told by people in the industry it would simply never work.

 

Last night, JPC were honoured as the Welsh Food and Drink Champion, the highest recognition in the industry. This award underscores our steadfast commitment to using the finest Welsh produce, fostering local and regional employment, nurturing apprenticeships, and empowering new entrants into the market. Over the past 15 years, we have emerged as industry leaders, becoming the largest contract caterer across Wales and west. We have created numerous job opportunities, both within our company and throughout our exceptional supply chain.

 

From our humble beginnings with a modest buffet to our substantial investments in the Welsh economy, we epitomise the principles of a circular economy. Louise and I are overflowing with pride at this honour. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients for entrusting us with their catering and hospitality needs, to our resolute teams for their tireless efforts, and to our amazing supply chain partners for their unwavering support. Looking ahead, we are enthusiastic about expanding our presence across the UK further contributing to industry growth and employment opportunities.
